Ultracontour® Fat Removal

How does it work?- Common questions and FAQs

Unlike liposuction, which involves highly invasive surgery and the discomfort of the healing process, Ultracontour® is a fast and painless way to achieve a better body shape.

Put simply, Ultracontour® dissolves unwanted fat cells while leaving surrounding tissue unharmed. The results are amazing: expect a reduction of up to 2cm from the waist measurement after the first treatment. Most patients see a reduction in 3–5 circumferential cms after a course of five or less treatments, spaced a week apart.

Who is Ultracontour® most effective for?

Ultracontour® is not a weight reduction procedure, but rather a body shaping procedure and is therefore not suitable for those looking to lose weight. The ideal person to experience Ultracontour is aged 20–60 years and has a body mass index (BMI) of 25–35 as they will benefit most from the Ultracontour® procedure.

How long does a treatment take?

Each treatment requires approximately 90, the first 25 of which consists of the client having impulses applied to their desired body area, the second half of treatment is devoted to an ultrasound drainage massage.

Does an Ultracontour® treatment have any side-effects?

No adverse effects have been reported.

Is Ultracontour® suitable for men?

Yes, Ultracontour® effectively targets fatty tissue in both women and men. As is the case with woman, all men wanting the procedure must have a body mass index of 25–35 and be aged between 20 and 60 years.

Are there any risks associated with the Ultracontour® procedure?

Ultracontour® is designed to minimise risks and has been tested extensively to ensure this is so. It is administered by health professionals, trained in the area, who ensure the procedure is delivered in a safe, secure and successful way.

What is the recovery time after a treatment?

One of the great things about Ultracontour® is there is no recovery time. A treatment takes approximately 90 minutes after which you are able to return to normal activity immediately.

How does Ultracontour® differ from other cosmetic non-invasive fat-reduction methods?

Ultracontour® cannot be compared to other noninvasive fat-reduction methods as, unlike other methods, Ultracontour® actually removes fatty tissue rather than just displacing it.

Can Ultracontour target specific body areas?

Because Ultracontour® is about body shaping rather than weight loss, it is possible to target specific areas of the body. Most notably, Ultracontour® reduces the size of hips, thighs, and the abdomen by dissolving excess fatty tissues present in these areas.
