Botox Treatments

Botox treatments are medically proven to temporarily smooth lines and wrinkles. Experienced, qualified and knowledgeable injectors mean natural-looking results. Yes, Botox® means injections, but our techniques mean you hardly feel it.

Years of squinting, concentrating and frowning in the harsh New Zealand sun can leave wrinkles and lines at the corner of the eyes and the forehead. Frown lines can give an angry or a sad look.

Botox® relaxes the facial muscles that promote facial lines and is the world’s number one cosmetic medical procedure. A twenty-minute Botox treatment can soften frown lines, forehead lines, and crow’s feet as well as give your face a fresher look.
If performed well it will have people telling you that “You look well” and not asking whether you have had work done.  At $17.50 a unit a typical frown line treatment will usually cost $350.*

Many facial wrinkles occur when we use our muscles to form facial expressions. When we are young our skin springs back to its initial position after facial expression. As we get older wrinkles develop with movement and eventually become permanent. Natural ageing, exposure to the harsh New Zealand sun, smoking and stress all contribute to the creation of wrinkles and folds. Botox treatments come here to the rescue.

Discomfort is usually minimal and brief, and no anesthetic is usually required. Normal activities can be resumed straight away.
After your first treatment, it takes 2-3 days for the BOTOX® treatment to begin taking effect and about 10-14 days to see the full effect. The most common area treated is the frown area (the glabella). As well as stopping people asking you why you are angry treating this area with Botox® freshens the face and lifts the eyebrows by a millimeter or two. The second most common area we treat during Botox treatments is the crow’s feet lines around the eyes. Both the glabella and the crow’s feet usually respond to 20 units of Botox® each. At $17.50 a unit the cost for these areas is usually $350 each.
