Rejuran – Revitalise Your Skin Naturally

What is Rejuran?

Rejuran is New Zealand’s pioneering injectable polynucleotide skin treatment. Unlike other injectables, Rejuran is free of hyaluronic acid, offering a unique approach to improving skin’s appearance and health.

How Rejuran Works?

Rejuran utilises polynucleotides (PNs), powerful molecules derived from highly purified and sterile salmon DNA. These molecules work to repair and rejuvenate your skin from within, promoting cell growth and enhancing overall skin health.

Tailored Treatments for Your Needs

Rejuran is available in three specialised formulations to target different skin concerns:

  • Rejuran r – ideal for all skin types, providing comprehensive rejuvenation.
  • Rejuran i – specifically formulated for delicate areas around the eyes, reducing fine lines and signs of ageing.
  • Rejuran s – designed for treating acne scars and other types of scars, promoting smoother and clearer skin.

What makes Rejuran different?

Experience the benefits of a treatment that has been trusted in Asia and Europe for over a decade and is now available in New Zealand and Australia. Rejuran treatments are not just about enhancing beauty; they focus on genuine skin health, offering long-term benefits with a natural approach.

What is Rejuran used for?

Overseas experience is that Rejuran effect is most commonly used around their eyes, for acne scars and to glamourise already excellent skin.

How is Rejuran Used?

Rejuran is injected via very fine needles directly into the skin. Usual downtime is 24-48  hours. Two treatments are given two weeks apart.

What is the difference between PN and PDRN?

Some people are confused about this distinction. PN or polynucleotide is purified salmon DNA which is injected into the skin to hydrate and support skin cells to regenerate tissue. PDRN or Polydeoxyribonucleotide is further processed and acts as a medicine in the skin by stimulating the adenosine A2 receptor. PDRN is not registered in New Zealand or Australia.

What is our experience with Rejuran?

At PCMC we have been using Rejuran since March 2023 and observing the effects. In common with all biomodulaters the effects are more subtle than fillers and take longer – up to six months – to develop. Follow the journey of our results on this page.

Rejuran is a dermal tissue reconstructive material, animal-derived. REJURAN is an injectable gel which is intended for injection into the mid to deep dermis to promote tissue restoration and reconstruction, and improvement of physical appearance.

Administered by injecting the gel into the dermis using a thin gauge needle. The polynucleotide is hydrating to cause volumetric increases of tissues and make more favourable physiological conditions for the growth of cells in the skin.
